Cinimod Studio is looking for a senior multi-disciplinary for our busy London studio.

Cinimod Studio is an award winning cross-discipline practice based in London specializing in the fusion of architecture, lighting design and art.  The studio comprises a team of 15 with specialisms spanning multiple industries.

The role is for a senior design position and only candidates with significant experience need apply.  You will be working directly with the studio’s director to develop and deliver new projects and products.  You will be overseeing the design and engineering of diverse projects, overseeing the fabrication by our suppliers as well as the final assembly and testing in our own workshop.

The position requires that you already have extensive knowledge and experience working in a similar design studio or environment.    Your background must provide you with the knowledge and experience to bring together the different design disciplines (eg. Design, electronics, software, fabrication, etc).

The role will require travel around the UK, and to international locations to liaise with specialist suppliers and fabricators.   You will attend site visits to meet clients, contractors, and oversee the installing of projects.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 7 years work experience in a similar company and similar role
  • Excellent design skills
  • Excellent communication and team management skills
  • Experience with 2d/3d CAD skills, presentation software & related software
  • Experience with electronics and/or software design
  • Proven experience in product development and/or prototyping
  • Project management skills, including programme and budget maintenance
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally
