AN INNOVATIVE PERSONALISATION PROCESS FOR RALPH LAUREN’S DISTINCTIVE RICKY BAG.

LOS ANGELES, USA – 2016

Cinimod embraced the opportunity to expand upon the phigital and combine luxurious tactility with a digital user experience.

Through physically interacting with a leather interface embedded with bespoke electronics, Cinimod Studio enabled Ralph Lauren customers at the flagship Beverly Hills store to personalise their own Classic Ricky, Soft Ricky, Tiffin and Drawstring bags via a truly unique in-store experience.​

Encompassing a range of intricate bespoke RFID, LED and capacitive touch PCV technology layered within the table’s interior, direct communication to a mobile application and a custom back-end server produce beautiful high-resolution graphics displayed on the cutting-edge OLED screen.

The overall experience is a truly advanced combination of physical and digital technologies and mirrored the exclusive luxury experience Ralph Lauren was keen to amplify.
